 Got my orders from the tailor today - some of which were this green shirt and the caramel trousers. :)

The pants feel like butter on - ah love. Say hello to future frequent features! oh YES! 

I'm loving playing with blocks of colour.

After doing a whole february of heels

 -I wondered - if i'd be able to adapt to wearing heels on a regular basis.

The things is, back home, in India- one can get away with wearing sky high heels on a regular basis due to the minimal amount of walking one has to do - with taxi and auto rides and friends that drive, high heels are easy peasy lemon squeezy (yum)! However back here in sydney, one needs to walk atleast to bus stops and stations, also most of one's friends in the city don't (need to) drive - and there lies the issue.

- i wondered- how can I wear heels that are almost as comfortable as flats

- et viola! Platform wedges.

Leather to the Metal

I got these amazing silver and leather bracelets yesterday.
Love. for that small POP of colour.

Its OFFICIAL, Lip Smackers are the only things since childhood that work on keep my lips soft and unchapped.

Enjoyed a HOT day eating and shopping and dropping by a quick rehearsal for the SOUL GOOD show this Friday. 

City Love Band is gonna rock it, the boys have been prepping for it! 

Was surprised with FREE toffee nut frapps at Starbucks, how lovely, not to mention perfect for the very hot day.

Tomorrow, its hotter, so... HYDRATE people.

High and waisted...

The Leather Gold Clasp bag has a funny story attached to it. I was having a horrible day and so the boy took me to Milson's Point where we saw markets happening. I had no intention of buying anything, however, a lovely group of people we're urging people to buy from them. Confused i went over to find out what the fuss was about...
and the gist of it was that they were trying to raise a charity that protested against human trafficking...
long story short, i decided to buy what they were selling, which included this wonderful leather bag with gold clasps for just $2!!!

These high waisted shorts are a dream. I want more like these in every colour!

Contemplating becoming a Pescetarian. The sydney fish markets will be my second home.

I love that there are pockets in this skirt, although the skirt itself cannot bear the weight of anything I may put in there, hah! I love this pullover from Sarojini Markets in Delhi, bought when I was first moving to Australia. Although most women pride in talking about their most recent purchases, I love telling about my older ones. 

He loves his bike so much, it gets its own couch outside.

Except its a fraction of the price! BARGAIN!

Nylon.. i loved you before i knew you.

I've decided I need to make the switch to Nylon Strung aka Classical guitars. Its been 3 years and i haven't quite got the hang of playing my guitar, which, no surprise, has metal strings. I am pretty sure the reason for my finger's not toughening up is my obsession with moisturisers and other hand creams, or that i'm just another pansy whining. 

Nevertheless... I have no clue how to begin this hunt for the perfect classical guitar. Any pointers? 

As for my music update, i have been obsessing with the young Miss Janelle Monae and her new album The ArchAndroid... be sure to check her out, the album has the MOST random and almost weird collection of sounds, that i find somewhat refreshing and inspiring. Throughout the album we can hear elements of Bigboi from Outcast who FYI is one of her mentors. my favourite track is Tightrope. Check IT! 

Other than that on loop on my playlist is Corinne Bailey Rae's THE SEA, Maxwell's BLACK SUMMER'S NIGHT, Lykke Li's YOUTH NOVELS and a few more that i can't ironically recall. hah! 

Time for a new Black Handbag! woot!( one more exam)
