I'm heading home! yay

 Even after 10 years of incessant packing, the idea of doing it is still so tedious to me. The fear slash tendency to over or under pack is always present. These are the few that i'm somewhat sure of. (PS forgot the tops and t shirts, i know)

Pointers?

•  If it doesn't fit the large suitcase - It's probable that it won't make the weight limit anyway. 
•  Unless you're going OUT of civilisation - What you forgot, can be bought.
•  What you didn't wear throughout the year - you probably won't in the next few weeks away either.  
•  Plan your outfits - so you're prepared and don't over pack.
•  Pack in your underwear - so you can quickly and easily try on what you're doubtful about.
•  Stop-over? pack a smaller bag with a change of clothes and essentials. 
•  Skip security drama by packing toiletries in translucent bags

For a lot of us holidays are over, but take it as just  F Y I - F N Y, (fyi for next year) LOL!

Wonderfuly wicked wind

 Back from a lovely Korean Dinner at our favourite place, Seoul Ria. It was 31 degrees today, but the wind made it soo tolerable. Tickets booked for India!

Easy Breezy

Assorted Macaroons and chocolate Milkshake from Lindt Cafe. YUM.

The weather was beautiful and breezy today, so i went out for a stroll at the Harbour... Darling, that is...couldn't resist making a pitt stop at the Lindt Cafe. The milkshake was divine, the chocolate shavings were just... mmmm :)

 Went and got myself a tea pot today. I couldn't believe how hard it was to find them. Other than at the obvious TEA TWO chain. While I was at it, i also picked me up 2 beautiful huge Mustard Cup and Saucer sets. it wasn't till i was unpacking them at home that i realised, everything I bought matched my outfit! hah!

                   -A clear tea pot with black and silver designs, and the mustard tea sets. :)

Movie Manic

Watched 'Love and other drugs' a few days ago- wasn't as great as I imagined it would be.
Anne Hathaway has a way of annoying me with her melancholic slash toughie character choice.
Ah well...

PS.. also watched 'my Blue Valentine' with my high school besties- unsatisfying movie as well. :(
The trailer was probably THE MOST beautiful part of the movie. and that was it.

Camera batt died so i took these on my trusted phone today.
Despite waking up at noon, I had a wonderfully productive day that consisted of scone loaf for breakfast, then off to uni to sort out some issues. After filling out and receiving a million forms- the issues were still not sorted and will only be after the forms were reviewed :/ bleh....

Since HOME-COOKing dinner is one my resolutions for this year, I had cocktail prawns and sauce for appetisers, followed by a nice Mexican pizza (that i reheated in the oven), nectarines for dessert.

OK.. FINE. I cheated... reheating doesn't count as home-cooking. If its any consolation, i peeled the prawns myself... Hmm. maybe i'll change the resolution to home-PREPARED dinner. sounds more do-able. I will also be buying the JAMIE OLIVER- dinner under 30 minutes something book.

It's better to bask in each other...

 The day was so gloomy, it felt the world stopped spinning... which sound like perfect conditions for me.
quick grocery run in the rain, oysters and home cooked dinner,  followed by Gold Class TRON 3D with the boy :) which included some very yummy Brownie Sundae during. mmmm.
